How to stop automatic file downloads and losing my collecition

Not sure exactly where this is coming from. See attached screenshot.

Then right after (sometimes, not always) my entire Traktor Pro 2 collection disappears, and sometimes is replaced with a small collection of standard beats. Another time my Traktor collection was completely empty.

Just want to disable all of this.

Onedrive is known for many problems and probably deletes the original files and only keeps the cloud files. Best to deactivate and uninstall it!

Did you check the suggested “Settings > Automatic file downloads.”?

I couldn't find any "Settings> Automatic file downloads." That was a notification on my desktop. I don't even know from which app it comes from. I don't see "Settings", nor "Automatic file downloads" in Traktor. Would love to know where that is coming from.

Is your ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor XxXX folder on a cloud? That can cause trouble. Or wherever your collection.nml is stored.

Well…the cloud drawing in that message looks a lot like the logo of OneDrive.

    I thought you knew it

And Personal is a folder created by it

Yes, it's coming from OneDrive! I never intended to use OneDrive. It's a brand new computer, and didn't realize my system was even running it at all. (Ha, don't even know how Traktor chose the OneDrive directory in the first place.)

Hopefully this will end having my collection completely erased from time-to-time as well.

It’s enough not to put the collection in Documents. That’s the folder that is automatically added to OneDrive. Or choose what get synced to it

No need to uninstall it. It can also be useful
