Analog Dreams and Ethereal Earth versioning shambles

Hey all, I just moved to a new computer and on installing Native Access it's telling me it can't install Analog Dreams or Ethereal Earth due to me not having the right version of Kontakt installed. Now, this message is clearly wrong as I have the full version of Kontakt 6 plus the latest versions of Kontakt 7 Player and Kontakt 8 Player. That's the first problem.

The second problem is that I'd prefer to run the libraries in Kontakt 6 anyway, so that I can use the same plugin across all projects. I don't think I have anything else that absolutely requires 7 or above. These are both libraries that I got in Komplete 13 alongside Kontakt 6. I wonder if the other Play Series libraries are also affected?

There's a 'Previous versions of recently updated Kontakt libraries' thread in this section, which supposedly is meant to help with this by providing downloads of the old libraries, but I don't think NI have realised that the links there no longer work due to too many people downloading them. And would downloading old versions that mean I have a permanent "Updates (2)" marker in Native Access until the end of time? It's a minor thing, but a bit irritating, because I try to keep all my software and libraries updated.

I don't understand why NI would just decide to break compatibility like this. I paid to run those libraries and to have a player that supports them - Native Access shouldn't break that.

I contacted support but it takes 2 days to get a reply. I'm curious as to whether the community has any answers or workarounds.
