Transferring TP4 from old MacBook to new MacBook

First time poster - long time Traktor fan

I know this has been covered in several different ways before, but I've yet to find a definitive answer.

I know a "fresh install" is preferred over the "apple migration assistant" process when moving from computer to computer (especially older intel based to newer apple silicon based). I've seen the instructions on deleting the Traktor folders from the old computer - but - this seems like an end-user responsibility and not an active "uninstall" process that alerts Ni to the freed up license activation.

How does Ni know my old computer is defunct and be ensured I'll be granted a new activation code for my new MacBook when the time comes to do this procedure? I currently have 2 activations - one on my main DAW workstation, and one on a soon to be upgraded MacBook (my main DJ computer)

Thanks Kindly

There's no counting of activations, so you don't need to go through any particular uninstall process to release licences. Deleting the application is enough to satisfy the licensing requirements of being installed on no more than two computers at once. Personally I install on a new computer first then delete the old installation once the new one works, that way if things don't go to play you still have a working system.

Appreciated mykejb - so, just load the new computer with a newer activation and then axe the older one once all system appear to be "go" with the new MacBook. It's a trust based system - nice. Thank you.
