Guitar rig 5 pro, Kontakt 5 stuck in demo mode - after trying workaround

so Guitar rig 5 pro, Kontakt 5 stuck in demo mode,
Found this workaround article here:
https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/15096/kontakt-5-stuck-in-demo-mode-on-m2-mac
Unfortunately I tried this and it doesn't work..
so every time I try and use Kontakt 5, GR pro 5 etc it is stuck in Demo mode
I think if you've paid for something and its no longer supported then a free / very cheap upgrade to a version that actually does what you've paid for isn't too much to ask.. God knows I've paid NI a ton of money over the years while I have friends using cracked versions that work..
This is just my opinion, but that ain't a good business to be in?
Anyone get this sorted yet? or did the workaround work for you?
I'm going to try and contact support about this too, fingers crossed..
Mac M4 pro
OS 15.1
mem 24 Gb

Good that you contacted support about it. We'd recommend to check this KB article, I imagine you did already but it's important to double check: Guitar Rig 5, Kontakt and Super 8 R2 Open as Demo Versions on Apple Silicon / M-Systems
Also, since it's a brand new Mac I imagine, have you installed Rosetta? That would be essential for products not natively compatible with M/silicon chips. It's also necessary for Native Access, even the current version, to allow activation of older products. Here is how to:
Also worth noting that you can use the latest version of Kontakt 8 Player to load your NI libraries. If you're a Logic user, there's even an auto migration system: Notes about Auto-Migration of Kontakt Versions in DAW Projects

yes so, an update..
in logic x:
Kontakt - I have Kontakt 8, and I can open on Kontakt 5 in demo mode, so I can copy and paste settings from 5 into 8, then save that.
I've got GR5 to work for the first two times its opened, after that it crashes always on the 3rd instance.
I guess that's better than nothing..!if you have any other ideas on a workaround let me know please!

Please read the article carefully. The idea is to get rid of the Kontakt 5 plug-in altogether.
