How to hear the results of the Neutron Mix Assistant? (wizard completes but the faders do nothing)

I have read the documentation, watched several videos, and done web searches, and I have not found the solution to the issue I'm having.

The problem is that after doing all the setup with the Relay plugins and letting Mix Assistant listen to my entire track, the Mix Assistant wizard says it completed- it shows me the 5 faders for focus, voice, drums, and whatnot- but the faders don't do anything. When I play the track back, I can move all the faders to 0 and it has no effect on the audio. Likewise, I can toggle the Bypass button over and over, but I never hear a difference. The plugin has analyzed the track, but it doesn't seem to do anything?

I own Neutron 3 and I wanted to try the Mix Assistant on a Cubase project of mine. After following the official documentation and tutorials, I have tried the following:

• inserted Relay on every audio track
• inserted Neutron 3 on the master bus
• picked my foci (3 tracks that are the focus at different points in the song)
• Played the entire song while Neutron 3 listened, and clicked "Go to results" when the song was finished.
• If I play the song again and adjust the faders, there is zero change in the sound. Same when I bypass. Fixing the track classifications doesn't help; none of the faders have any impact.

I have tried both Neutron 3 and the Visual Mixer plugins. I have tried it with the plugins inserted on the master bus and also inserted on a standalone audio track. What could I be missing here?
