Traktor Kontrol S2 MK3 Crossfader not working properly

Since yesterday crossfader is not working properly. In the software sometimes it moves or moves not corresponding to the moves I do with the hardware crossfader. Sometimes in the software the fader is really trembling.
And as I learned by exploring the online sources: for this controller model there ist no way to calibrate the fader.
And what I also learnded: there is no real product support for cases like this. Only online articles but no phone, no email no online form. Should this really called "user support"?
Or did I fail to see the solution for my problem?

Ttrembling points to signal disruption on the hardware side. Could be as simple as dirt. There are tools to clean those yourself before sending it in for repair. This should not be a calibration issue.

Okay, looks like i was half wrong. Here is a path. Go to the link in my quoted post:
If you are not logged into your account, log in at the bottom. If you are logged in, click 'Product Support', Then click 'Hardware Repair'. After clicking NO a couple of times, you can select a title, then the content text for your support request. Then wait. Note: nobody is going to send you an answer over the weekend.

Dirt where? In the fader? In the usb cable?

In the fader slit. Dust, fat, hair.

Try this one- maybe it helps. if not you need a new crossfader.

Before I use tools to clean I would prefer an official answer of NI support. The support link you posted leads to a chatbot which gave me 3 times the same useless answer with no possibility to write a request or chat with a human beeing. This is nothing I would describe as a helpful support.0 -
It's a multiple choice menu. The last page of it offers a text box.

A foot in the door is a good thing, right? Anyway, i am also not happy about how customer support has been devolving across the board over the last 20 years, not just with NI but with almost every company that exceeds a certain size.
