Sound library on old computer drive, changed computer. Will it work with new one?

I just upgraded my PC and I have all my sound files on an external drive. Can I use this drive on the new PC, copy it or do I have t reinstall them?

You ought to be able to use the already downloaded Kontakt libraries. As far as I know then you will have to re-install e.g. Maschine expansions. And of course all apps and plugins ought to be installed to default location on the new computer. I don't know if the same drive letter use mentioned below here rule only apply to repeated use on same PC or if you have to use same drive letter for external drive on both PCs
Install : You should be able to click the three little dots right to the install options and there select Locate ,reference : Reinstalling a Komplete Bundle Without Re-Downloading Kontakt Libraries
Howto Share KONTAKT-Libraries Between Two Computers Using an External Hard Drive
Quote : Important note for Windows users: Make sure the external drive always gets the same letter assigned by Windows. Otherwise, the KONTAKT libraries will not be found during use.
Storing Libraries on an External Drive for both Mac and Windows
We do not recommend storing your libraries and content on an external drive to be used by both a Mac and Windows computer. It may cause performance issues.
If using Native Instruments software on a Mac and Windows computer, we recommend using separate external drives specifically for each OS.
For best results, your external drive should be formatted the same as your operating system's native format. These are : Windows ; NTFS , Mac OS X 10.12 and earlier ;HFS+ (Mac OS Extended) . macOS 10.13 and later ; Apple File System(APFS)
