Error while creating new LEAP preset
When clicking File > New Leap Preset i get the following error:
The patch is corrupted and cannot be loaded!
I've already tried reinstalling, but was not able to resolve this error.
Did anybody encountered this and found a solution?
Thanks in advance

Hey Rob, could you post a screenshot of the error message?
Can you try resetting the database of Kontakt 8 ?
Reinitialize the Kontakt Database
- Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to Application Support > Native Instruments.
- Depending on the Kontakt version you are using, delete the following folder: "Kontakt 8"
- Start Kontakt as a standalone application (not in your DAW).
0 - Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.

You being a Mac user then make sure that you have done all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software ? :
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS
and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)
Also then do not use Clean My Mac.
And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
Also be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS

Hi PoorFellow,
Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it! I checked all of it but these settings were already correct.
* full disk access
* APFS formatted ssd drives (internal and external)
* private relay: off
* N.I. added to the local network
* all softwares are at their latest versions
On top of that I reinstalled several leap based libraries.
Since it says "patch corrupted," maybe I could try loading a patch that someone else made or a working default preset?
Thanks!

Hi Jeremy_NI,
Deleting the Database solved the problem! Thanks very much.
(For good measure I attached the screenshot of the error message.)
Kind Regards,
