KA6 MK2 - Two almost identical Windows 11 systems, but one does not work with the 5.22.0 driver

I have two nearly identical PCs with the notable difference that one had the Komplete Audio 6 MK2 installed back when it was running Windows 10. I had also installed the official 5.22.0 driver. Eventually I upgraded to Windows 11 on that machine. When I plug the KA6 MK2 into that machine it works without any issues still to this day and I can see that the installed driver is 5.22.0 in device manager.

Later I put together a very similar PC configuration (same processor, similar MB), but installed Windows 11 from the get-go using a bootable USB device and it installed some

driver automatically. Having this default Windows driver installed, I cannot play audio through the KA6 MK2 in many apps (like Discord for example). I also cannot play audio in VLC media player with the default settings. I have to go into the audio settings and switch the WaveOut audio output and after restarting VLC I can hear sound through the KA6 MK2.

I tried installing the 5.22.0 driver, but it causes a hardware conflict and the interface shows as

and is missing completely from the output devices in Windows Sound Settings.

I managed to fix this by going to the Device Manager and manually uninstalling everything that had any reference to Komplete Audio 6 MK2 and ticking the "Attempt to uninstall the driver for this device from the system" where available. Afterwards I ran the 5.22.0 driver setup wizard and after it was finished installing I unplugged/plugged back in the USB cable and the new PC seems to behave exactly like the old one now.
