Why won't season guitarist install to my backup drive during download

I'm almost through a full content install of komplete 15 standard. I have my removable drive set in content location. About 230GB went to this drive. Checked in and noticed when it got to sessions bass, guitar it switched over to my Mac SSD. Paused and re checked in file management CL still set to backup

Applications are best left default, the download location is negligible and the content location may be external if the format is supported. 

We recommend using NTFS on Windows and Mac OS Extended (Journaled) on Mac OSX 10.12 and lower, APFS for 10.13 and higher.
