Whast does device manager show when you have the ASIO driver installed and the Z1mk2 is connected?

Yeh that's my laptop setup so do need that.
Like I said I dont understand why it's been working fine since i got the Z1MK2 in November and only messed up after using my Z2 one weekend.
Does anyone else have any more suggestions? This is a nightmare and I have a mix that is due by the end of the month for an album promo.

One thing i noticed recently is that something from NI runs upon startup and shows in the notification area - I've never seen it with any other NI device. Try running the Z1mk2 Control Panel app and see if that needs to be running in the background.

In Traktor, please connect the z1, choose the z1 mk2 (ASIO) in audio setup and show me a screenshot of output routing.

ok here we have the set up - Z1 Mk2 going into the X1 Mk3 into the laptop. Then the audio setup. Then the Output routing and then the laptop device list still listing a driver error for the Z1Mk2.

I am getting beyond frustrated. I am sitting here with equipment (Z1 Mk2 & X1 Mk3) that was working properly and fine with no issues for 3 months up until I connected up my old Z2 the other weekend.
Is there actually anybody from Native Instruments in here who could help? Is this a problem with my laptop? This is a new laptop that Ive had for about 10 months and is the same laptop where eveything waas working properly up until the other week.
Why is my laptop Device Manager saying there is a Driver issue now when there wasn't before? Would removing any old drivers (like the Z2 driver) help at all?

That screen isn't Device Manager - it will be reporting the WASAPI driver error, which is normal. Right click on windows icon and select device manager then look for the section that lists the Z1 mk 2 - it'll need to be plugged in for the list to populate.
Also try directly connecting Z1 to laptop, not the usb on x1 to rule that out.
