Tweaking a Tom Sample

Hey Bat 4 Users,

I'm trying to edit the EQ on a Flr Tom. The actual sample name is MidHiTom Session V13. My problem is it's giving me a "bend-up" kind of effect that's more of a synth sound rather than an organic head sample. Actually, it's 2 different sounds (I think). I hear both an organic, which I want to keep, but discard the synth sound, but I don't know how. Any suggestions, pls?
