Hi,
Somehow the NI Native Access app downgraded by Traktor 3.70 installation to 3.11 ?! I own and have been using 3.70. I have backups of all NI and Traktor files.
Please advise on how I can restore everything. Thanks!!!
Note: The Native Access app shows Traktor 3.11 when I try to Reinstall. I'm using Native Access 3.16
It's an upgrade. There is no 3.70, it's 3.7.0., so it's from .7 to .11.
TP 3.11.1 is the last TP3 version.
Traktor also does backups, if you like the old 3.7.0 more then the new 3.11 you can keep using that.
Edit: Sorry folks, I was late to the Party :)
Are you confusing a downgrade with an upgrade? TP 3.11.1 is the last available version of TP3 for the jump to TP4. I don't think NI Access can downgrade.
But if you want to go back to your original version, you can do that at any time via your user folder.
I have deleted some of my backups, but you get the picture …
Thanks for clearing that up. I'm using Windows. When I look in the Documents\Native Instruments folder, there are subfolders for what appear to what I took to be different Traktor "versions": 2.11.3 / 3.51 / 3.70. Until all of this when wrong today, the 3.70 folder is Traktor where all of the collection updates were being written and that's what I would restore. Am I on the right track with all this?
The folder in documents contains the collection info, stripes, settings etc.
The folder i showed in the picture is in the programs folder, which contains the exe file of Traktor that you need to execute to start a previous version of Traktor, which is then drawing on the collection in the documents folder.
Update: I was able to restore it via Traktor File Management option in Settings. All looks good. Thanks for your help!
Btw, why do you want to run 3.7 instead of 3.11?
Probably just the 3.7 collection.
I was mistaken and solved that problem.
