Why Kontakt can't locate my Instruments ?
Hi, all my Instruments, my Kontakt softwares have always been located in users/shared
I didn't touch anything but suddenly Kontakt 8 (and 7) can't locate them (except the Kontakt Factory libraries). Files can't be found and assumed to be at Library/Instruments ???
What happened and how can I recover my sounds ?
Thanks for your help

Are you using latest version of Native Access for your OS ?
Have you done all the Mac users must do the when using N.I. software ? :
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)
Also then do not use Clean My Mac. (if you have used CleanMyMac then you might have to reinstall products)
And quote Kymeia : if using Sequoia then N.I. apps must be added to the Local Network
Else try first resetting the Native Access XML file , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access

Hi PoorFellow
Thanks for your quick answer
As a matter of fact, I recently loaded and used CleanmyMac's latest update and I didn't use Kontakt since then.
I've checked all the points you recommend, everything seems OK.
All my applications in Logic are OK except Kontakt that only loads Kontakt factory libraries.
Do you think I should reinstall all the Kontakt applications ? To find them again in Kontakt
And what is the procedure to do it correctly ?
Thanks for your help

Alas then I do not have any Mac myself and apart from what is written in the discussion (do not use Clean My Mac) then I do not have any information. But I will ask @Jeremy_NI , could you please give your advice on how to handle this (maybe add to the initial post on the do not use Clean My Mac page or have support make a help article if not there already ?)(so that you do not have to be bothered directly with questions like this ? , unless of course it is all on a case by case basis)

Hi everyone
Somebody else could answer my question ?
Someone from NI ? @Jeremy_NI ?
I have this big problem and I don't know how to begin.
Should I really reinstall everything ? First Kontakt 8, then all its applications (a lot) ?
I have all my libraries in users/share, no way to connect with Kontakt ?
Thanks for help

First of all, check Kontakt in standalone. Is everything showing there? If not you can start here: Kontakt Crashes, mainly the reset database part.
Also make sure that both Kontakt and Logic have full disk access.
If you have uninstalled Clean My Mac, you should open Native Access and check if all your libraries show as installed.
If that doesn't help, better get in touch with our support, my colleagues wll need to look deeper in your system: https://bit.ly/NI_support_kontakt
