Insane clipping after launching Maschine from Windows Antivirus

When i launch the Maschine 2 software the Windows Antivirus gets activated and then insane clipping starts and my CPU goes crazy to the point where i can't do anything as all i hear is non stop clipping and cracks?

There is no way to end the process or stop that Antivirus as Windows does not allow it. Maschine is added to the list of authorized programs.

This was not happening just a few months ago and i don't understand if this is related to some recent windows update or whatever, but as long as Maschine is open this thing does not stop working and it constantly messes up with my work.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Any suggestions on how to work this out? The % of the CPU that thing consumes changes every other second and it goes from 4-5 to 40%.

i've experienced the troubleshooting side of Windows & all that it brings

all said… looking at the picture provided…

there is an aspect you should learn to understand when having VST's on the various levels of Master/Group/Sound level

each level that a VST exists on, the CPU usage for each level compounds when another VST is added at the next level up…. so you can imagine the how much stress on the CPU exists if you have VST's on the master Level,, especially noticeable… if you have alot of groups

You need to address this in Windows Defender and exclude all files and folders with all your plugin locations, Native Access folders etc.

Basically anything audio related you need to exclude.

Yeah i know how much VST's affect the CPU, but it wasn't like that just a few months ago. I don't put heavy stuff on the Master and i was doing this for years and never had such issues like i'm having now. Everything is excluded and i think the problem is that Windows gives priority to the Defender and when the music is playing it messes up with the latency.

Never before have i noticed such activity on the defender once i launch Maschine. I will figure it out at some point i guess it was just weird as i have good PC with i7 processor from just few years ago and 64 GB DDR 5 RAM plus 1TB SSD brand new hard disk. I turned off all VST's from the Master and it was still doing the same thing regardless.
