Kontakt library damned to a dead external HD has left me in limbo

I'm stuck in a loop. Can't access the library at all. Can't fully uninstall it. Can't install it. The app knows I own it, but without that VERY dead HD, there aren't any methods being suggested that work. Any ideas?

You do not explain exactly what is the problem when doing exactly what ?
From what I understand then you no longer have the content and that it needs to be re-downloaded ?
