One channel is louder than the other one

Good morning everyone,

I am using a laptop with windows 10, Traktor 4(point-zero - I am guessing at the moment) and experience the following problem. One channel is louder than the other one. No matter in which Dj Mixer (usually Pioneer in clubs) I connect my soundcard, the output 3/4 (Channel 2) has a lower volume than the other one. The sound card works perfectly, the same applies to my usb slots and all used cables as I tried to exchange every single piece already
any ideas or solutions for this problem?

Can you test if mapping a different deck to that output? If it still low it might be a hardware problem.

Or you could test to use a different software all together. Just play something on youtube and tell your OS to use output 3/4 for audio. If that still has the problem, it might be hardware.

If you find it's only in traktor, there is a pan somewhere. I think I remember a bug where people have to pan all the way to one side and back in order to fix it.

Try running Traktor in Mono mode or play a mono track, see if you still get one channel louder than the other.

Are you running Traktor hardware (S2/3/4 etc)? If so is the headphone cue balance wrong as well?

Also, the latest version is 4.1.1 so check you're up to date.
