Phase HID for Traktor in next update 🙏 (and others issues)

Hello !

I know an update for Traktor will come for the end of the month, please make Phase HID, please 🙏

Too much cue drift for me actually.

Hope the input routing problem when the same channels are selected for two or more decks will be solved too.

I also got a small issue with mapping :

I own two rp-8000 mk2's mapped for Traktor,

On TP3, they were named in input and output this way :

rp-8000 mk2 #1

rp-8000 mk2 #2

And the mapping was saved for each one correctly.

On TP4, they are named the same :

rp-8000 mk2

rp-8000 mk2

When I select the first one for the mapping and then the second one with the same mapping it works, but when I quit and open again Traktor, it affects the mapping to the first rp-8000 mk2 only, I have to manually select the second one each time I open TP4 ...

Hope this will be fixed 🤞

    I'm aware of a new community update from the CPO but not a new Traktor update. Did I miss something?

    It would be great just to have the "cue sticker drift" fixed in Phase DVS (RCA), please bring it on NI !

    Initially Native Instruments team said that they will come back before the end of 2024 for a first solution about real-time stems separation ...

    I hope for phase HID so much too.

    I just don't understand why we don't get any news, even for a small input routing bug with same channels, they know about since November, and said they will come back soon ...

    Please NI please, make these happen 🙏

    Phase will announce a new product next thursday 23rd. I hope ,this time, Traktor is included with no issues 🤞

    Maybe isn’t related to timecode or maybe is directly standalone…

    The issue with Traktor has 2 main points:

    Licensing (like Serato Partnership)

    HID control over Traktor deck playhead for non audio timecode and motorised platters. NI only allows S4mk3 for that and probably isn’t so open (like remix decks when released). Hopefully a strategic issue more than “old code limitation” one.

    I dont think that is the issue because even the S4 has cue sticker drift you look up for videos.

    If you run other SW like Serato or Virtual DJ play the traktor timecode and route it back to Traktor you can workaround and control traktor in HID.🤷‍♂️

    I’m not sure if I understood you properly but playhead and motorized (aside timecode) never gone well. IDK if S4mk3 has also bugs/issues but it could be related to the playhead control I point.

    Using HID control to load timecode onto is a waste and even that gave problems in the past (Denon hybrid mode callibration issues…) to a point these attemps end in SC Prime M series…

    Yesterday, Phase Dj announced that HID integration with Traktor comes on way.

    phase HID and Tidal and everything will be right in the world.

    If we want to push the boat out a new Z2 to wipe the smiles off reloop elite, Pioneer and Rane 70. Z2 was the choice of Qbert, Craze etc… let the good times roll.

    the thing is Phase has already anounced HID, in June 2024, for all major SW, and we are still here……

    Word on the street is HID in Traktor will only work with the Phase Pro. So that is a sat slap to regular Phase users.

    No, that was only on the leak. The websides now also shows Traktor HID support for regular phase.

    this is great for testing the "Cue Sticker" accuracy of the Phase remotes
