NI havestated that they will not be releasing a traktor z2 mk2.
I think NI should release a two or four channel controller with bigger motorised jig wheels to compete with the pioneer rev 7.
They have the technology from the S4mk3, they would just have to upscale it. Traktor have lost a huge number of scratch dj’s because they never updated the z2. They could claw some back with this. The fact you don’t need any subscription is s massive average as well.
The only new technology they would have to add is paddle effects triggers.
come on NI, get it done.

    A new S4MK4 with bigger Displays like D2 and 2 more Pad-Modes and Midi Mode would be my favorite

    As far as I know they didn‘t state that explicitly. But it is somehow obvious if you discontinue a product without introducing a direct successor and don‘t even announce something like „We‘re working on it but it isn‘t ready yet“ that no successor is planned - especially if that product was discontinued years ago…

    I agree 100%, when NI made DVS open to any audio interface it was kinda obvious that we won't see a new mixer any time soon. I also come from Z2 hoping for the new updated hardware.
    I had to map S11 to Traktor…

    my next mixer is going to bed a S11 or S7. How do you find the s11 compared to the z2, do you use Recordbox at all?.
    I think mapping a s11 to use Traktor is a waste, so I’m leaning more toward the S7, the s11 looks so good though.

    I don't use RB at all. Screen won't work but the rest of controls are all mapped in and out. S11 is definitely better in every way - except the Z2 is looking better. Nothing beats NI design in my honest opinion.

    It’s hard to know what NI will release in the future since they have change forward backwards too many times.

    If NI implement one big screen across all the products that Z2mk2 could be similar to Qbert mixer.

    This video about the Thud Rumble mixer concept is very exciting. Well, it was FIVE YEARS AGO!!!

    C'mon NI!!! Pick up this concept and run with it. I really hope you guys have got Q Bert engaged and are building 2 (yes TWO) versions of this - a 2 channel and a 4 channel.

    Now, I'm a fan of physical controls over touch screens. So what I'd like to see is an NI equivalent of a S11 with the computer built-in, with a screen that is useable enough to browse/prep tracks, etc…, but dos not dominate the mixer.

    OR (just thought of this) is the next evolution of DVS mixers a mixer with an audio interface and a computer built in, AND a screen that is as wide as the mixer, that sits at the back of the mixer (like so many all-in-one stand alone controllers)???
