Traktor s4 Mk3

I have new controller Traktor s4 mk3 and I would like to use my controller in midi mode but in the manual it is not present in the mk3 but only in the mk2, can anyone tell me if it is possible to put the controller in midi mode?

    S4MK3 has no MIDI mode.

what do you mean with midi mode. the controller is midi. there is no need for "midi mode". All Ptis and Knobs are midi capabe. only the jogwheels are not midi. The controller mapping is integrated with traktor. When you start Traktor with S4mk3, you have an empty mapping, where you can remap midi and overwrite factory defaults.

The overmapping capabilities are not MIDI mode. All NI controllers, except for the MK3 series can be switched to MIDI mode. In that mode, every control element sends CC and Note signals, and the LED's can receive them. The new X1 and Z1 can do this as well.

I dont had a s2 or other ni controller before. For me the overwrite mapping is good. Maybe it will be better, when you can explain what is your plan , what you want to do ? *g

observations, the decision not to integrate the midi mode in this controller because it cannot manage the displays and a choice that precludes its closed use only for that product making it less attractive, among other things the convenience of using a mobile device can only improve the attractiveness of the product itself, I do not understand the choice but patience I accept it as it is

S5, S8, D2, X1 Mk3, Z1 Mk2 all have displays and feature a MIDI mode. Therefore this can‘t be the only reason for that decision.

since there is no midi mode it would have been nice if they integrated Traktor on Maschine+ to have a semi-autonomous system and one less PC to carry, not to mention it would be a better marketing choice to sell an extra product
