License Transfer needed

Hey, I bought the Maschine Mk3 second hand from ebay, I didnt realize the seller needed to transfer the serial number or whatever. I can not use the product and the seller cant find the thing I need or something. I have no idea how to get this started, I dont understand why this is the only midi company that makes you do this just to even USE the thing I bought. I need help please
