Kontrol S4 MK2 device not recognized

I have a kontrol S4 MK2, it was working before I bought a used MK3. When I plug the usb the computer does not recognize it, the Master USB icon under the "BROWSE" knob is flashing (with or witthout power, the mk2 works without power cable it just has less light brightness). When I only plug usb, all the lights go on, it seems like it has power. Here is what I tried:

-4 different cables with the correct AWG (like the support article says)

-multiple reboot of my PC

-updated native access and traktor pro 3

-tried on 2 computer that have the driver installed (one mac and one windows 11)

-uninstalled and re installed the mk2 driver multiple time, same thing for Traktor Pro3

-tried the "Device updater" version 1.7 and 1.2, none of them recognize the MK2

-Searched in device manager to see if there is a "unknown USB device" connected, there is none

-installed "controller editor" latest version

-looked for NIHardwareAgent and NIHostIntegrationAgent in "service" on my "task manager". I can see that only NIHardwareService is running. The 2 other are not show in service. I cannot right click and "run" them as the article says to do. I search online to find how to download those 2 service and have them run on my PC I cannot find any info.

-My HW lisence is in transfer as I was planning to transfer it to the next owner for this table. Could this mean the hardware is locked until the transfer is done? it would not make sense…

-MK3 is working flawlessly on my PC
