Session Bassist in Logic Pro
It will not load; just says "Loading" within Kontakt 8 in Logic Pro
I'm running Ventura 13.7.1, Logic 11.0.1; 16GB RAM; Intel Core i7 chip
Anyone come across this?

It actually did load but took at least 8 minutes.
Conflux loads right away.

Hello,
do you use an SSD or external HDD? It's normal for the first time opening kontakt to take a bit longer, no matter what instrument, from them on it loads faster, in my experience. But 8 minutes is a bit too long for sure.

No external drive for this; Kontakt loads fine and pretty quickly.
It's within Kontakt when I click session bassist that "Loading" takes 8 minutes. Any ideas?

No not really but I can try later on my computer and compare, do you load it via the left area or via the newer browser?

Here's a screenshot … it just hangs forever

On my not so strong laptop it loads 15 seconds, after 10 I can see the instrument and then it loads for another 5 seconds the rest. I just have my libraries on that laptop on an SATA SSD. You use mac so what file system do you use, should be APFS as far as I know, or HFS+ on older systems.

How can I check?
I have a late 2017 iMac

maybe you can try batch re-save they tell about here

I did batch resave and also turned off antivirus; everything loads fine like before except session bass - "Loading" message then just hangs forever.

How do I get Kontakt Instruments that I'm playing on the instrument's keyboard to record within Logic?

Ohh sh.. then I don't know, you could reinstall session bassist but then I guess it will be like it was before. You could try to make a speedtest with your hard drive (just google speedtest ssd/hdd mac) and test if there is something wrong, also do you have left some space on it, normally 10 to 20 percent should be unused. Also try to contact support they have a tool to analyze your computer and see what's going on.

In cubase that's possible, by deactivating midi through in cubase and set the kontakt event output as midi in to the track. I'm sure in logic that's also possible but I'm not using it myself so I can't tell you how exactly you do it within logic.
