Komplete 15 Standard, Kontakt 8 doesn´t show up in Native Access

Hi

I just upgraded to Komplete 15 Standard, but i cant see Kontakt 8 in my Native Access List. Im currently using an Macbook 15, 2015, OS onteray, 12.7.6

Is this the reason i cant see Kontakt 8 ?

Im waiting for a Macbook Pro M4 to arrive and hope this will solve the missing Kontakt 8

I was suspecting this was the problem. But soon a M4 will take over :-)

Kontakt 8 requires at least macOS 13. Therefore your macOS 12.7.6 is to old and the reason for Kontakt 8 not showing up in Native Access. It isn't compatible.

There is a weird disconnect in the NI site now - seems K8 Player - can use OS 12:

Samplers : Kontakt 8 Player : Specifications | Komplete

But Kontakt Full - does needs OS 13 now:

Samplers : Kontakt 8 : Specifications | Komplete

Maybe the Player page as not been updated? Or the Full Page is wrong?

That "full" spec seems like it has just changed - like very recently.

Must be one or the other…

Following up on what VocalPoint wrote then courtesy of Jeremy_NI, December 10 , 2024 then here is a link for KONTAKT 8.1.0 if you want to try your luck , at least if it doesn't work then you know why , just be careful not making any projects require this version in case that you need to switch back. (in case of a download problem then log in to Google first and/or copy to own Google drive first)

If you want to the rather than trying above download/install then you can first try resetting the Native Access XML file to see if that makes any difference , look at section 8 here : My Product is Missing in Native Access.

Thanks, i think i´ll proberly just wait till the new Macbook arrives in hopefully a few days :-)
