Revert back to previous version of "Soft Drums" in Native Access

Hi there,

So, I updated one of my products through Native Access (Soft Drums, updated to v2.0.1) but now it doesn't work with my current version of Kontakt anymore. I do not want to update Kontakt under any means since I rely heavily on it and can't risk any of my other plugins being rendered useless as well. If someone from the Support team is reading this, please let me revert back to the previous version of Soft Drums (purchased and installed on November 20th) – I had no issued with this one.

Thanks in advance.

Well - two choices - update Kontakt - which is by far the easiest choice. 7.10.7 will not differ from 7.81 in any way - just bug fixes.

Or - hit up Jon Meyer to see if you can get the prior version. Which of course will involve ripping the existing library out - putting the old one back in and so on.

This choice also creates a hassle where you will now need to be very selective in Native Access since clicking Update All will put you right back in this mess.

Ni cannot help with this - since it is a third party library

To be honest - there is zero reason to be on K 7.81 at this point. 7.10.7 is so much faster and stable.

    But your call.

What error are you getting in Kontakt? And what OS are you running?

If the product in question is actually this product:

    SOFT DRUMS — Jon Meyer

You may need to approach Jon for a rollback.

    I'm running Windows 11.

    This is the error message:

"Your version of Kontakt is too old to load this file, which was saved with Kontakt v7.10.2.000. Please update to the latest version of Kontakt"

What version of Kontakt are you running?

And did I get the product correct? Or is this some other "Soft Drums" ?

FWIW - the very last release of Kontakt 7 is 7.10.7 (released about 10 days ago).

I do find it extremely hard to believe that Jon would require that "current" of a version of Kontakt.

    I'm running Kontakt 7.8.1

Yes, that's the product. I bought it on Novemeber 20th and installed it through Native Access without issues. Then I updated Soft Drums unfortunately – now I'm unable to launch it because it's giving me this error message.

It used to work before the update, now it doesn't.
