macOS ISSUE: D2 Screens FREEZE when in full screen, and you move focus from Traktor

This issue was solved many moons ago (I was very vocal about it in the older forum, RIP old forum) … but for quite a few versions it's been back.

Essentially the screens on my D2's freeze when I "three finger swipe" from Traktor in Full Screen back to Finder for example. It has to do with the older "Spaces" functionality within macOS … it was solved once in the past but I'm guessing that Apple changed the rules at some stage and the issue is back again.

My current system specs are in my signature.

Please fix.

    And … it also happens on the X1mk3 little screens as well …

    I think NI implemented a workaround long ago, which then stopped working. Since Traktor renders the screens on desktop and sends them to the controllers, unfortunately there’s nothing they can do, it’s just how macOS works.
