Problem with Kontakt 7.10.7 and libraries in DEMO mode.
I have the latest versions of Kontakt (7.10.7) and NA (3.16.0) installed on a Mac Studio M2 Ultra running Sequoia 15.1.1
So far, everything has worked fine. Today, after turning on the computer and launching Kontakt 7, all libraries that appear in Native Access start in Kontakt in DEMO mode. Both NI libraries and third-party libraries that were registered with a serial number. Other Kontakt libraries (which do not require a serial number) work fine (such as those from 8Dio).
I've noticed that only reinstalling a given library causes it to work correctly afterwards. But this is an unacceptable solution. Some of them are 70-100GB each.
How to fix this problem?

Since you are a Mac user then : Have you done all the Mac users must do when using N.I. software ? :
ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. (double check if having problems after updates) : How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats
Also then please check that iCloud Private Relay has been turned off : Native Access Error Message: "Download failed" (macOS)
Also then do not use Clean My Mac.
Otherwise then you can try the following Troubleshooter here : My Products Are Showing As DEMO in Native Access , especially '2. Your activation fails because of corrupted or missing activation tokens' and '3. You have corrupted XML files' (delete both NA XML and XML of problem Kontakt product XML) then restart computer and log in again to see if that helps
Else if problem persists or if then contact N.I. Native Access and Installation Support and have them help fix the mess. In case that you need guidance contacting support : How to contact NI Support and How to get in touch with our Customer Care

Thanks. I had all these tips done, except the last one.
After removing CleanMyMac and reinstalling the external extensions, everything started working correctly.0

Hi, I'm new here so apologies if I've missed the solution but I thought I should share this with you.
I'm not particularly technically minded but I found a simple fix for several problems I've been having with Kontakt 5,6 and 7 including libraries not found, demo mod no sound etc.
I found that in most cases moving the library to an external HD and doing a relocate using Native Access as administrator fixed the problem (I'm not sure if the Administrator is necessary). It's a lot quicker than reinstalling. Good luck.

What is it about CleanMyMac that messes up Kontakt and Libraries? Simply uninstalling is not an acceptable answer IMO. Is there some documented info about this that you can share links to, please? Thanks.

CleanMyMac is a program to “clean” the system of "unnecessary" items (cache, multilingual files, corrupted installations and configuration files). You can read more about it in this article
https://community.native-instruments.com/discussion/38631/clean-my-mac-causing-a-lot-of-issues-with-our-products-please-read
I have observed that the problem with CleanMyMac is that it does not recognize certain program configuration files or NI extensions. As a result, it removes them as unnecessary for some reason. So the question is whether it is a bug on the part of CleanMyMac's developers, or maybe the configruation (activation) files have the wrong format, which is misinterpreted by CleanMyMac.1 -
Thank you for this - it worked like a charm for me. I understand where some issues could come in with CleanMyMac and other third-party maintenance tools messing around with Kontakt / NI files and hosing things up. But simply uninstalling it is not an answer. And re-installing all libraries as you pointed out takes FOREVER LOL. Good tip. I did this (relocating of libraries), and reinstalled the ones that were still "hosed" and all is well now. I will have to "watch it" with CleanMyMac I suppose…or add NI folders to an exclusion list or something if that exists within that app.
