Found the problem, it's a memory problem, Traktor is using a lot (1,7 GB), so i need to close other software to free some memory, i've only 8gb

I'm holding back from updating to 15.2 till the dust settles, this is the one that includes "Apple Intelligence' but I think that has the potential to have a significant impact on system performance, maybe this is one symptom of that?

Traktor is the only software where i see a slow down, so it looks more a compatibility problem with 15.2

OK but does that mean it is using more memory after the 5.2 update? One thing I am concerned about is if Apple Intelligence is doing more indexing of files in the background and taking up more memory because of that. That could have a disproportionate effect on apps like Tractor that themselves rely on indexing lots of files.

Can you turn the Apple intelligence stuff off, or at least the background processes?

Yes you can, but in my case it was not active, i deactivated Siri and some other software that were heavy on the memory and for now it's working. On a live session better to close as much process as you can.

I wouldn't call that a lot, but I would say 8GB of RAM in 2024 is far too little. Even for surfing and Office, I wouldn't buy anything under 16GB today.
