Will there be VST migration for Kontakt 5,6,7 -> 8

The release notes in v 8.1.0 show added functionality for migration from Kontakt 5, 6, or 7 to Kontakt 8 for AAX. Will a similar feature be available for VST plugins?

It depends on the DAW and not the format. As @Vocalpoint mentioned, it's up to the DAW, everything is ready on our end and works now with Cubase, Logic, Pro Tools and Maschine: Notes about Auto-Migration of Kontakt Versions in DAW Projects

Kontakt migration is a DAW vendor function.

Has nothing to do with NI.

And - now with Studio One.

As of v7.02 it appears we now have the pieces in place. This has not been widely published or documented but some S1 super users that I have contact with confirm it now works.
