No sounds from M32 keyboard when hooked up with Maschine

So i have everything hooked up and the Maschine (Mk3) is working fine. but when i go to a new group and try to use my M32 keyboard.. NOTHING. i cant get a sound out of it. i see thats its connected in the settings AND it will control the software when i press play, it plays and when i press stop it stops but thats pretty much it. what am i doing wrong here? why cant i get amy music out of the keys?

Have you activated it's MIDI Port in Maschine's preferences?

Have you upgraded it to the latest firmware? I bought one second hand a few weeks ago and as soon as I connected it I got a message prompting me to upgrade firmware

Look for MIDI settings (MIDI input) on a sound not on group level.
