Maschine Central Library necessary when Komplete 15 Collector's Edition is available?

Good day,

can someone tell me whether it makes sense to buy the Maschine 3 Software Update with the Maschine Central Library included when I own the Komplete 15 Collector's Edition? Are there several thing seperate in the Central Library, especially designed for Maschine, that are not include in Komplete 15 CE?

Maschine 3 can be purchased with the new Central Library. I do not believe any Maschine specific software or libraries actually ship with K15 CE. Can't see any Maschine references here:

Within K15CE - there are a ton of new (Maschine) Expansions in there now - each chock full of Maschine specific projects, kits etc.

I believe the new library needs Maschine v3.

But you still have not indicated what Maschine ( hardware or software) you have. Both the Factory library that comes with K15 CE and the new Central Library is not really usable with a of some sort of Maschine - be it software or hardware.

Maybe I am not understanding the question. Or comparison.

@Vocalpoint No the Maschine Central library doesn't need Maschine 3. It installs and runs on the Maschine+ too, which is not yet updated for 3.

I guess it all comes down to how much you use (or don't use) Maschine.

The jury is still out on whether v3 really improves V2. Some like it and some don't.

Up to you to decide for your workflow.

What I might think of the library (if I owned it) as far as "worth" goes may be vastly different from your idea of worth - sorry I cannot be of more help there.
