Give it a lot of time to finish to see if it will recover, on some systems then firmware updating can take 10 hours or more , at least that has been reported with respect to the S-series MK3 , I don't know for the M32. But you would want to turn off sleep and hibernate until that it's finished or you decide that it has failed.
