Yepp, that expanded IO has me excited. I have 32 inputs and outputs on my interface and use 26 of em. :-p

It seems a lot of users would already be very happy if 8 channels actually worked with their (off brand) audio interface.

On that background, I wonder how NI wants to offer 32 on the M+.

I wonder which interfaces they’re having issues with. I haven’t had any issues with any class compliant interfaces I’ve connected to it thus far.

Same here. Increased I/O for external audio interfaces is what I’m most looking forward to

interesting. So far I’ve used the plus with

    Motu 16A

    Presonus Studio 192

    Tascam Model 24

    Traktor Audio 10

    Pioneer DJM-A9

    without any issues.

interesting to hear the motu 16a works.

The 8A works for about 5 minutes and then the audio drops out (at least that's my experience). I've had it since release. On the older M+ firmware; it would work fine for a few minutes and then slowly degrade the audio. It sounded like a bitcrush effect was on the master. Now it drops completely AND any midi being sent to the output seems to be a little slower than the actual tempo. I don't remember the exact numbers; but I'm sure I added it to the audio interfaces thread. It's incredibly weird. In all cases, turning the knob in settings fixes it for a couple of minutes

The annoying thing: Sometimes it corrects itself. So if you just leave a project playing for an hour; you might come back and it seems fine. In reality, it might have dropped all audio for 40 minutes while you were away.

I can confirm M+ can use both my RME UCX and Zoom H8. It sees all of the I/O as expected, plays, records, etc. I can't confirm either works properly because I've never tried to put them through the paces for a few hours.
