Oh, what kind of monitor do you have? We've seen these kernel panic crashes resurface. Is it a high end, ultrawide, 4k/5k? If you set the frame rate to 60 Hz do the crashes still occur?

Okay, problem identified. I use Displayport to Thunderbolt. If I clock down to 60hz it works. If I use HDMI it works too.

Next time some more info would be cool. From the screenshot I see you're on Mac. What version of Kontakt are you using? If you open Kontakt in standalone do you get the same issue?

Sorry for not specifying my operating system. I'm using the latest version of Sequia. I reinstalled my computer yesterday. I completely reinstalled everything. Now when I load Kontakt 8 into Ableton, the Mac crashes completely. I've set up hard drive access.

That's right, it works at 60Hz.

I knew that but thought that I'd let you fix the problem 😉

No on a more serious note then I did vaguely remember something about the crashes related to Mac displays but thought that the issue had already been fixed and that the present problem were a new incarnation that would require the assistance of support.

The curious thing is that I wrote to the support today. They wrote that they would contact me by email because the topic is too complex. I'm very excited when it's time. 😂
