How to download the VST2 version of FM8 when you already have the VST3 version.

Can anyone tell me how (or if it is possible) to download the VST2 version of FM8 (for Windows)? I have the VST3 version on my laptop but I can't get it to work in Zenbeats so Roland is telling me to try the VST2 version. But I'm not sure how to get the VST2 version of FM8 since I already have the VST3 version. Do I have to uninstall the VST3 version then download the VST2 version? I'm a little worried about trying this because I'm worried I'll uninstall the VST3 version then not be able to get the VST2 version, then won't be able to reinstall the VST3 version and will have to purchase it again. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The VST2 version is installed by default via Native Access.

I see it right here on my machine. I do not use it but it is there.

Probably right on your machine as well if you search for FM8.dll

Thanks for the response VP. But can you tell me where it is on your computer? My computer has a VST2 folder where all the vst2 instruments are supposed to automatically go when you download a vst 2 instrument but FM8 isn’t showing in that folder. So either it didn’t download or it went to another folder but I can’t find it. Thanks

Yeah. Native Access creates its own bizarre non-standard folders for VST2.

You can see the path in Prefs-File Locations within Native Access.
