Record output steam with Komplete Audio 6

Hi All!

I playing something via Komplete Audio 6 and hear the sound in my phones.

But I can't just record this sound because recording software want to have a input as a channel"

What I found is a recommendation to wiring Output 3/4 with Input 3/4 and record Input 3/4.

I think there should be a way to route something that is going thru out channels, Phones, or traditional outputs. If the signal is already there, why can't I just record it with WavePad or Ableton?

I can't solve this puzzle so writing here.

Please advise.
