Hey everyone I am just wondering if it´s possible to connect a Maschine + through Line to Channels 3 or 4 of an Opus Quad and not needing a laptop to sync it?

Thanks

Connecting audio cables from the Maschine+ to the Opus Quad isn't going to magically make them play in time with each other…

Also, Pioneer hardware doesn't have Ableton Link.

You probably could just set the Maschine+ tempo to the same BPM as the track playing on the Opus Quad, and have it stay in time quite well (assuming the track has a constant tempo) as IME the Maschine+ clock is pretty good.

You would have to resort to manual syncing, ie. set the same BPM values for both units, then beatmatch manuallly from the Opus Quad. If you've ever spun vinyl, you should have no problem doing this

If you can get a Traktor mapping for the Opus, you could use the Link in Maschine & Traktor. I've seen a DDJ-Rev 1 that works 100% with Traktor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SfG8TZGwKMI&list=LL&index=17), the exact way it does with Serato, so in theory, you could do the same if there is a mapping available, or if you do the mapping.
