Help Needed: S2MK3 Not Detected By MacBook + Cannot Update Firmware = Stuck!
Can anyone help me solve a connectivity issue with my Traktor S2 MK3? I am stuck in a chicken-or-egg kinda situation:
My Traktor S2 MK3 is not being detected by my MacBook Air (M1, 2020, running macOS 12.7.4 (Monetray)). It is not being detected by either the Firmware Updater (TKS2MK3) or Traktor Pro 4. I suspect the firmware needs updating before Traktor will recognise it, but until I can update the firmware, I am stuck with a device that is unrecognised by the MacBook.
I have tried different USB cables and I believe I can rule that out. I am not in a position to try the S2 with a different computer - I don't have another I can use. I am however able to get the S2 to light-up and be recognised by an old iPad (circa 2016). Otherwise, the S2 only lights up for about 2 seconds before all lights going off again when powered up at the mains, whether connected to the MacBook or nothing at all.
I have scoured these forums and NI help guides but nothing helps me break this impasse; everything points to firmware update but because it is being undetected, I can't break the cycle. Any pointers/help would be hugely appreciated.

Heya!
I suggest you check the articles below, and make sure is being recognize in the audio midi setup. That could mean the device is being recognized by the computer.
If none of the steps seem to work, you can contact our hardware support.
