Clean My Mac causing a lot of issues with our products. Please read.

I use it for many years, no harm ever done to NI software. Use it smart, uncheck unwanted actions before making system changes.
With all my respect, but I do believe any issues caused by Clean My Mac to other software are responsibility of the users only. I use it as well for many years already. Not daily, even not monthly. Only sometimes, when I need it. And you need to be aware of what it is really doing, reading what it’s going to remove before you hit “go”.
Otherwise it is very similar to deleting a system folder by an accident and saying that you could not restore the software, just because some system files were automatically deleted when you did a cleanup of your system folder.
I understand, not everybody here is a system administrator so not I am. But if you’re using any kind of automation, you need to be aware of what it is doing under the hood. If you don’t know what the tool is doing, just don’t use it.

I have used it for years without any issue until this week. Bummer.

So, how come CleanMyMac doesn't cause any trouble to my other software like Arturia, Kilohearts, UVI, etc etc? The only problematic thing is Native Instruments. Interesting…

Ive been in technology close to 40 years. Ive been an in-house trainer, senior support tech and helpdesk & IT manager, net eng, net admin, generalist.
Not once - ever, in any era of the modern PC OS (since the GUI) - have I recommended the use of automatic registry or system cleaners. Not once. When I worked for PC builder/repair shops, I cant count how many times people came in for support for machines whose OS'ed were borked because of "registry" or "system" cleaners.

I've used CleanMyMac for years.
Never had an issue arise.
So. What's so different about v5 that it's causing failures of NI software?2 -
Nevermind. I'll follow through with your suggestions.
I hope we can all just let go, put aside, and have a refreshing holiday season.Best regards,
Charles

SOLUTION FOR MY ISSUE:
Since no solution was posted here I thought I'd post mine (that doesn't involve reinstalling everything).
My original "Content Location" file path was
/Volumes/Crucial/Native/Content
(This was on an external drive called "Crucial").1. Rename the path. I changed it to
/Volumes/Crucial/Native_tmp/Content
2. Open Native Access
3. Repair the libraries by going to Maintenance > Repair Installed Products
4. Select the new file path
Fixed. If you try to change it back to the original file path it will break again. I don't know why - it seems like it has to be named something different.
This works with libraries that Native Access has access to. I did have to completely reinstall other third party libraries that Native Access does not have to.. But this workaround did save me 1.2TB of downloading.
Hope that helps!
PS: "With all my respect, but I do believe any issues caused by Clean My Mac to other software are responsibility of the users only." - Hard disagree.1 -
Any other solutions? We used Cleanmymac and now our libraries only come in as "demo".
We have reinstalled a few small libraries, they work from the Shared Folder on main hard drive but not from external drive where we prefer to store the libraries.
We have a support ticket out to Native Instruments, two responses, but no help yet.
Mac OS 14.7.2, Native Access 3.16.0, Kontakt player 7.10
