Komplete Kontrol Perform View not Updating Instrument

Am I doing something stupid? I select an instrument, go into Perform view and all is fine.
I change again once or twice, then the perform screen stays on the last instrument and refuses to change.

Example

At this point I am stuck with the Melted Vibes image whatever I do.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Pretty sure that is a bug on mac. I heard it mentioned a while back, likely not been fixed yet. Give them 6 more months or so and it may be in the pipeline, fixes don't roll out too fast or with much importance sadly.

That is disappointing as it literally makes KK unusable - only less unusable due to the S88 Mkii browser continuing to work, but that alone doesn't help much. I wonder how many others have this problem.

    I had the same problem.

Kymela recommended a method in this post that is working for me:

Essentially: create a new desktop in Mission Control. When the GUI gets stuck, swap between them.

Many thanks for this. A workaround would certainly help. Do you mean I should open a second instance of KK - which I understand has to be done from command line with -n at the end?

Hey all, yes this is a bug in Komplete Kontrol when using Kontakt 7. The workartound is to use Kontakt 8 instead (the free player is free) and select this:

Wow. That appears to have done the trick.

    Many thanks for this.

Further down that list I unchecked Kontakt 7. I assume that's not a bad thing to do?

Thanks. I decided to be brave and uninstall both Kontakt 7 and the previous unnumbered version to the point where Native Access is not wanting to repair either. Life is good.
