mashine mk3 and kontrol mk3

So I've bought and downloaded the new mashine 3 software hoping for some great integration with komplete kontrol s61 keyboards. I'm a bit disappointed or… as usual I'm doing something wrong…. In mashine 3 stand alone I'm not able to get the main arrange or mix screen on my KK keyboard. I just get the sampler plugin and whatever effects plugins that are in a particular group…. In plugin mode within studio one it's even worse. I'm not even able to select the kk s61 keyboard as a controller as it's greyed out…. I could use some help for sure…. thanks in advance.
