How to connect Maschine MK3 and Traktor?

I've been looking for a way to route my Maschine into a live deck on the Traktor Kontrol S3. I plugged a RCA cable into the main out 1 and 2 on the Maschine hardware, and into the deck D input on the Traktor hardware. However, when I go to the audio settings on both softwares, it shows up as a mic input and they are unable to connect. If you have any suggestions let me know! Thanks :)

I was able to use the soundcard in my maschine as the output device for traktor. Then ableton link them both. Might not be what your looking for but also has the benefit of not taking up a channel in traktor. There is also a drag and drop function from maschine into the remix decks.
