My traktor 4 will not allow me to select output devices after I choose the Laptop sound card.

The track waveform runs

but shows no options here

any Ideas ?

I need the laptop speakers to work for preparation. Thank you

What hardware are you using? If you select your internal soundcard then traktor will only offer outputs from that specific soundcard, front left/right, rear left/right, etc. So for master choose front LR and for headphones use rear LR, probably not an option for a laptop soundcard

If your external hardware has a soundcard you could try using that and routing it's output to your laptops aux input, if it has one?

The general way of doing this is to use an external soundcard and connecting directly to an amp or active speakers.

Without knowing your current setup we can't really offer much useful advice

Did you manage to find a solution to this? As I have the same problem.

Just want to be able to use my internal speakers when prepping tracks.

It works fine when I connect my Z1-M2 mixer to my laptop but just no luck/sound when it's just on its own.

I bought a new HP laptop especially for the Z1 & Traktor Pro 4

It's has a -

Intel Core Ultra 5 125U 3.60 GHz

16GB Ram

And uses a Realtek(R) SoundCard
