When loading a stem it loads in as a track...why would this be?

I've recentley updated from Traktor 4.0 to 4.1. During the installation I was presented with a pop up window featuring corrupt graphics. The installation seems to have completed non the less.

When I booted traktor I had lost all of my playlists and remix sets. I have now resolved this issue by ensuring all off the paths in Options/File Management reflected v4.0.

My issue now is that even though many of the tracks in my playlists are showing as stems, when I right click and load as stems, they load in as tracks and the stem icon vanishes from the track list. Some of the tracks behave normally, but many don't.

I'm worried that the stems still exist somewhere and that converting all the offending tracks to stems again will not only be time consuming but also take up valuable memory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try importing your settings from a previous installation, traktor makes backups in documents for each time it gets updated.

Hey, Thanks for the suggestion….I've just tried that without any luck in fixing the issue. Is there anything I could try possibly?
