Maschine 3.0 General Discussion

in respect to routing… the main issue is the time it takes to setup the routing,
i dont know if you have noticed…. but dropping a group on a template with routing established… the routings seem to persist and remain in 3.0… wasnt the case with 2.x
just something i tested… try it out

@Ozon
Happily that's not the case. The following new features can be implemented on the controller
Stem Separation : via the Sampler edit tools like Truncate and NormaliseBounce : Only available in Ideas mode, via the Shift + Pad Mode buttons
Scene Tempo : via the Shift + Scene buttons
I'm hoping that all the features will be implemented on the controller. That's likely to coincide with the next Maschine + update as it would make sense that all controllers (+ or not +) behaved in the same way.0 -
Bro got the thickest skin in the world right now! As critical as I have been in the past, I appreciate the work you all have done on getting this past the finishing line. Looking forward to the next set of updates!

Thanks for the reply. I think you can create a temp track in Ableton live and have the Maschine plugin follow it so it's possible that way maybe. I'll give it a shot

one of the challenges i found with ableton and manipulating the tempo with a endless encoder, was the working span between min - max tempo and having a incremental/decremental of 1bpm…
lets say the tempo range(min/max) is between 40bpm to 250bpm
can you work a endless encoder to shift at 1bpm between that range??

Integration should be stronger. Drag and drop. Routing done.

the way in which i would approach things… is first making a group template with all routings configured to taste, and save that as a blank template…
after which you could drop groups/kits on to keep the routings intactthis from my short tests is how it is currently

I totally get that, and like the sound of this!

It would be cool if you could select a toggle "ramp" and then select which kind of ramp up you want such as logarithmic ramp or exponential, so the scene tempo ramps up from the previous scene tempo gradually.
