New Kontakt 8 User Unable to connect to most libraries

I bought and installed Komplete 15. I moved the libraries to an external disc, updated the locations in Native access, reinstalled the applications (as I had mistakingly moved these with the libraries) and ran "repair" to re-connect them to the app. There are 156 items showing in Native Access but only 58 appear in the Kontakt 8 browser when I use it in Logic Pro.

Is there something else I need to do to access the rest?

All items listed in Native Access say "Installed" in the status box, but the text is greyed out (in case that is relevant).

Most grateful for any ideas.

    Hello,

next time you can change the location in native access before you install the libraries. You can try to open kontakt 8 stand alone first, so it can scan and build up the database. Also try this:

Thanks for the suggestions. Reinstalling and opening Kontakt 8 shows about 63 items in the library, all of which seem to be active. Still only 58 items in the Kontakt browser in Logic. Do you know if there is any way of opening a ticket with Native Instruments?

@David K Newton Are the libraries missing also in the "Classic" browser? You have to choose VIEW → Classic view

If you compare between Kontakt 8 in standalone and in Logic, which libraries are missing?

    What you can try/check already:

Make sure to give full disk access to Logic and Kontakt 8: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

    Reset Kontakt's 8 database:

    Reinitialize the Kontakt Database

    1. Hold down the alt key on your computer's keyboard and click Go in the Finder menu bar. Choose the appearing Library entry in the drop-down menu.
    2. Navigate to Application Support > Native Instruments > Kontakt 8
    3. Delete or rename this file: komplete.db3 (to old_komplete.db3 for example).

Open Kontakt 8 in standalone, let it open some time to let the database scan run in the background.

Close Kontakt, open Logic, load a Kontakt 8 track, are all products showing?
