Sequoia 15.0.1

Kontakt updated to 7.10.6

Automation, specifically Ch 1 (usually dynamics- more tests coming) will suddenly jump to and from about 70% ( like 100/127) no matter what my automation is set to. This is persistent across new, totally blank projects and old projects.

Tried all basics, resets, restarts, checked for hidden automations. Need ideas on what to try.

Switching to Kontakt 7 ruined my music making ability for months so I really don't want to update to 8.

Thank you,

some guy

Likely to be your DAW rather than Kontakt. Check with the Kontakt factory MIDI Monitor multiscript, which tells you what MIDI messages Kontakt is receiving. KSP(top R corner)>Presets>Factory>Utilities. Monitor "Controller" only, use Verbose mode. If you see unauthorised cc#1 messages, you'll have to trace whereabouts in your DAW they are coming from.

Also, I have checked the issue is not related to an external control panel (unplugged, tried using it).

    Tried reinstalling Native access.

Do you mean MIDI CC1? The modwheel? What DAW are you using?

Do you have any keyboard or MIDI device connected? Which ones? Can you reproduce the issue with no device connected?

    Hey Jeremy!

Yes Midi CC1. Have tried with and without my external midi devices connected. Issue remains.

So you can reproduce the issue in an empty project without any device connected? What DAW are you using? Does this happen with any Kontakt instrument? Does it happen for any other plug-in? Can you post screenshots or a video showcasing the issue?
