Kontakt content installation split in different drives
Hello,
All these years I have been using the 7200rpm HDD for kontakt content along with others which is about 3-4TB. Now I bought an NVME drive 2TB and SSD 2TB. SSD is already occupied with East West ComposerCloud+ contents.
I wanted to know if moving part of Kontakt contents to Nvme m.2 2TB only which are orchestral and keep others in the old 7200rpm HDD contents such as drums, Guitars, Pianos and Synths and SFX. Is this recommended?
How would NA2 look for the locations for any updates?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Anil

You can move individual libraries to another drive. Once you've moved them Native Access will show the option to relocate the library. If you want to install future libraries to the new drive you can set the path in Preferences.

Hi,
Thanks. I installed few new libraries in the new M.2 nvme drive, Action Woodwinds. But the initial loading of the instrument takes same time as loading from the other HDD (7200rpm). Is there any other settings for hdd or ssd or m.2 be applied? This might confuse with other old libraries loading from old HDD right?
