Just a suggestion:

Mysterious crashes are often due to a dodgy plugin. I had to hunt down and eliminate old plugins about 6 months ago.

It continues with the same problem, now I got version 3.3.4. It hangs u initializing the gui. So, I'll go back to version 2.x again. What a shame … Now tried with 2.9.6 and there is also a hung up. I don't know what happens. So I'll revert to 1.8.3. Pewrhaps then it will run ….

There's probably a plug-in causing Komplete Kontrol to freeze when scanning it, that's why it happens with all versions. Maybe check your plugin folders for any old plugin or unusual file in there.
