Why am I getting this error message while trying to use Komplete Kontrol in Logic?

I keep getting this pop up error message when trying to use Komplete Kontrol. In the attached screenshot you can see that I only have one audio unit running "Komplete Kontrol".

The error message says "An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable. Please quit and restart Logic Pro". This only seems to happen when using Komplete Kontrol which basically makes using it impossible. But it seems I can use Kontakt and access at least most of the relevant plug-ins there. Any ideas?

What OS are you running? And what version of Komplete Kontrol?

If your OS is Sequoia - no NI plugins are currently supported. Could be a partial reason for the error.

@caml63 If you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, is everything working as expected? What instrument is loaded in Komplete Kontrol? Do Komplete Kontrol and Logic have full disk access? How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

I'm seeing the same error on an existing 2021 Logic project that I've just opened with Logic 11.1 on Sonoma 14.7.1.

Clicking on the Kontakt and Komplete Control button (not the pop up) to reveal the editor window is causing the same error.

However, I can create a new project and use either instrument and they work as expected.

    Komplete Kontrol app works fine.

Looking more closely, the instrument used in the 2021 project is based on Kontakt, not Kontakt 7. I was able to change the audio unit instrument to Kontakt 7 which prevent the error and then try to find the instrument again. It seems that the exact preset is lost (which will be a challenge to remember which presets were used)

There must be a version compatibility issue where older versions cause plug in errors in my case.

If you were using Kontakt 6 (that version didn't come woithout any number) it means this project should have been opened in Rosetta mode, since Kontakt 6 was never supported natively on Silicon macs.
